Mr. RB what is your comment supposed to mean? Who do you think these green movement people are? And what on God’s green Earth is wrong with NIAC? I take it you’re one of those insane LA exile types.
Well let me tell you something. I was in Iran for three months this summer. I was there from mid-May until mid-August. I saw EVERYTHING!
Let me just tell you that the chances of any type of regime change are slim to none, and if it does happen Iran will end up as just a more reformed version of what it is today. Why? Because THAT IS WHAT THE IRANIAN PEOPLE WANT. Especially the Mowj-Sabz( and I’m not talking about all of the opposition groups who have taken up this color, but the real green movement that originated with Mousavi and Khatami in Iran.)
So the real question is Mr. RB. When will people like you be welcome in Iran. The answer is NEVER.
Unfortunately Iran will never change. It will stay the same shit hole as it is now. The way Iran is today is because of the people. I was in Iran for 2 months and I was stunt. We need a lot of change. I do not mean only in government, I mean with the culture, with the way people treat each other, and many other ways. Some Iranians have huge identity crisis, and some hate the West. I have never ever seen such a thing. Why can’t we just be normal and keep our own culture without turning into a terrorist or a Muslim fanatic?
Just see the way people drive in Iran, it is horrific. Just look at the police tries to enforce the laws. You need to bribe your way out of everything. You cannot stay honest if you have some business with government departments. You need to bribe to get your way, otherwise it is impossible. Just see the way our guys treat girls in the street in Iran; it is absolutely disrespectful.
Believe me, the chances of regime chance is slim. The reason is because people are confused. Some are monarchist, some are anarchist, some are Islamist with reform in their mind, some are just tired of this government, and …. We need a change from within first to be able to change our government.
I wish I had never gone back to visit.

“The greatest enemy of knowledge is not ignorance; it is the illusion of knowledge.”
If the green movement succeeds in overthrowing the regime, will people like you and NIAC be welcome in Iran once it is liberated?

There is absolutely no reason why I wouldn’t be welcome in the land of my birth today or in any future. Thank you for your concern. Have a good night.
