www.SeeTheCook.com

… is the site I’m most excited about nowadays. My friends put it together and I’ve been addicted to it ever since I learned about its existence, learning to cook a wide range of foods. Here’s an article I recently wrote about it for OCPC Magazine. Go to www.seethecook.com here.

Listen, Palestine is important… supremely important, but it isn’t everything so relax.

  3. :) says:

In fact, its only a tiny small part of the Middle EAst as well. But youre not talking about the Middle East here are u? Youre talking about cooking!!!! Is this why you went to Harvard??! To talk about cooking? Weve got someone getting a Master’s in Middle East studies at HArvard writing about cooking, and on the other side we have a fat moron at a shitty law school with a learning disorder writing about the Middle East. Do you not see the problem here?

  4. Nazanin says:

This is so cool AND it can relate to Palestine. Food is the way to a man’s heart…. even a cold dictator’s heart. Well…. look at Sharon…. nevermind…..

Does Arash write for the New York times???!!!

“Israel, which is pounded daily by Hezbollah rockets coming across its northern border with Lebanon, …”

Apparently Hezbollah has been sending rockets into Israel every day and no one has known about it except this idiot, LOL!! Making shit up as they go along-the true hallmark of Zionists

  6. Nazanin says:

Mr smiley, I have a post about Israel and the former Mossad director Meir Amit on my blog. Enjoy

  7. Jewish-Zionist says:

How pathetic. Smiley face, once again you deny that Israel destroyed Syria’s nuclear reactor.. what’s the matter, does that wipe the smile off your face? : )
Obviously, Israel kicked Syria’s ass and Syria could only respond by saying nothing happened. And what are you doing? The same! Oh it never happened… ahhahahaha!
Smiley’s biggest fantasy is having Ahmadinejad, Nasrallah Assad, and Meshaal form a powwow and finish off all over him.. LOL!!!
Get a life smiley. Maybe I should help you in your anti-Zionist efforts, you look like you need a helping hand!! Ahahahahah!

  8. Jewish-Zionist says:

Also, smiley face, here’s some solid data in case you were a little anxious about what happened: http://www.isis-online.org/publications/SuspectSite_24October2007.pdf

Netanyahu already spilled the beans on the operation, angering the other MK’s. Your denial is pathetic. Admit that your side of the game sucks and can’t defend itself : ) lol!!!

  9. :) says:

LOL. Someone didnt do the math problem I asked them to do. Why didnt you do that?? LOL!!! Now, we all agree Israel bombed SOMETHING in syria. The question, and I dont particulalry care either way, is waht it was. People, serious people, have some serious problems with the exact pictures you showed in your little PDF.
““It’s uncommon to see such activity in the middle of nowhere,” he said, adding that it was sufficiently unusual to have worried American intelligence officials. “I’d have put it on my suspect site list and kept watching,” he said.

The senior intelligence official said that American spy satellites and analysts had, in fact, watched the site for years.

“It was noticed, without knowing what it was,” the official said. “You revisit every so often, but it was not a high priority. You see things that raise the flag and you know you have to keep looking. It was a case of watching it evolve.”

Jeffrey Lewis, an expert on nuclear proliferation at the New America Foundation in Washington, said it was surprising from the photos how little progress had been made at the site between 2003 and 2007.”
“A senior American intelligence official said yesterday that American analysts had looked carefully at the site from its early days, but were unsure then whether it posed a nuclear threat.”

“The Syrian Desert facility that Israel apparently attacked in a shadowy Sept. 6 raid—and that some administration officials believe was a secret nuclear reactor—might be several years old. Israel bombed the complex near the Euphrates River months after alerting the United States to the existence of a suspect Syrian facility, according to intelligence sources. But photographic evidence obtained by NEWSWEEK shows the boxy main building already existed in 2003, and a European intelligence source said the program might have begun years earlier. The source, who asked for anonymity when discussing sensitive information, said fresh intelligence suggests the Syrians actually started a hush-hush program under the regime of late president Hafez Assad, who died in 2000, and that initially, clandestine factions of the government may have kept it secret from Bashar al-Assad, Hafez’s son and successor. If true, it could be a significant intelligence failure by American and other Western spy agencies….”

Israel is on a suicide mission. In history all the empires or nations that acted this deperately faded out or got crushed…. which is what will happen to Israel soon.

  13. Hey Pouya,
Thanks so much for writing up that great article, it looks great. For the rest of you guys, I’m one of the founders of SeetheCook.com. I have to say I’m pretty impressed how quickly a post about a cooking website turned into an argument about Zionism. Regardless I remember before my medical school foray, when I was more interested in middle eastern history and pollitics, the single person who most inspired me was Edward Said. Not because of the extensive writing that he did, but because he tried to use music to bring together Isreali and Palestinean kids in order to find a solution to the problem. So in reply to the person who claimed that cooking is irrelavant to politics, I’d kindly disagree and propose that if you brought together Isreali children and Palestinean children to the same table to eat food together from their respective cultures you would have done more than the actions of the political leaders of the two countries over the past 20 years combined.
    Thanks again Pouya.

Payam, u are assuming that this is a confict about “hate”. Thats like saying if Jews and Germans got together, everything would have been better. No, the problem was the systematic attempt by Nazi to destroy the Jewish presence in Europe. Just as the problem is not that Palestinians and Israelis hate each other-this is a symptom-but rather the disease of Zionism which has systematically tried to destroy (and has destroyed) the Palestinian nation.

  15. Jaxta says:

Nice work! I’ll have to do a cross post on this one 😉
