There are rumors circulating on facebook and over the internet in general about Khamenei having died. Has anyone read anything credible about this matter? Does anyone have anything substantive for me to post? If this is true, it’s BIG.

This is just a baseless rumor started by American Neo-con Michael Ledeen. Pouya I really thought more of you than to spread such baseless and stupid rumors.
It’s a complete rumor. For years we’ve been hearing rumors about him dying or soon dying, but every time we’re disappointed when we hear that we’re denied from having such a blessing of sending this vermin to hell. He is alive.

Ledeen said the same thing on his blog in 2007. I think he uses this rumor from time to time as a way of testing his impact. His sons are both in the military and stand to benefit from any attack on Iran. They may have left and gone civilian side, but they are still in the war business. The Ledeen family has a new new generation of Iran war pushers.
