From Ha’aretz: “In AIPAC speech, Obama repeats support for Israel.”
“We must preserve our total commitment to our unique defense relationship with Israel by fully funding military assistance and continuing work on the Arrow and related missile defense programs,” the Senator said.

Check out this Electronic Intifada article about how Obama loves Israel: http://www.electronicintifada.net/v2/article6619.shtml

Hahaha.. where’s smiley face now? Pathetic.

Although Barak Obama is an excellent speaker, he is far from a candidate I think worthy of my vote.

As you acurately pointed out in an earlier post, political campaigns all push the same propaganda about “change.” “This will change, that must change, etc.” This is what Obama’s campaign is on the surface.

But you know as well as I that anyone in this country who has a chance at being the president doesn’t want change and in this country will never be able to bring about genuine change. Obama is not as hawkish as John McCain or Hillary Clinton, but he is no force for positive change. Far from it. The previous post on his avid desire to suck Israel’s **** as soon as possible and become the latest American F*** toy for that state is a perfect testament to this.

I strongly disagree with Barak Obama on virtually every issue and I beleive that anyone who beleives in true change does as well. I am sure you do too. But you, as most americans, feel you have no choice but to sacrifice your ideals a little and try to rationalize this politician as not being “as bad as the others” although there probably isn’t one single issue you completely agree with him on.

Ahmad, I agree with most of your post. That’s pretty much all I can say since you said it all. Ideally, I would have liked Kucinich to have stood a chance and be in a position to really afflict change.

This is why it is SOO hard to support Obama. You would think AIPAC wrote this letter for him.
