Memritv is a complete tool, but sometimes you can make good use of it. Here is a thorough explanation as to why the level of violence in Iraq dropped from horrible to very bad, which really doesn’t say much if you ask me. On a side note, I’m just finished up a course with Professor Roger Owen on Iraq’s 20th century history and I must tell you, the country’s history is depressing… but not nearly as depressing as its current status. FYI, this blogger was against the war from DAY ONE and is still against the war.
In my opinion, the amount of savagery and brutality that Iraqis have seen makes Iraq the most tragic country in the Middle East. In many ways, even more so than Palestine
And no one cares whether YOU are against the war you tool. Now the US is in Iraq, start dealing with THAT
Me being against the war makes no difference, of course. I was just saying so to vent and also to highlight the fact that while a majority of this country was for the war at the beginning, I wasn’t. By the way, how do you suppose I should begin “dealing” with the fact that the US is in Iraq now? I mean, take the video in this post for example, which analyzes currents in Iraq today effectively, which is my way of saying I’m not stuck in the past. Is that okay with you good sir?
To be fair, to be against the war NOW would mean that you support a full withdrawal right now. Is that your position. On that issue, i really just dont know. Serious people can disagree here, I think.
The US cant win this war.
